The Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) and Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) strands under the Academic Track aim to equip students with theoretical knowledge and practical 21st century skills that will help them become competitive in their respective fields. In addition, these programs will also prepare students for more rigorous academic work in the college level.
The Accountancy, Business, and Management strand introduces students to the dynamics of business in the 21st century. Under this strand, the students will be exposed to concepts in business, marketing, accountancy, and entrepreneurship to prepare them for further business studies. In addition, the course aims to impart theoretical and practical knowledge to the students to help prepare them for the challenges of the modern business world.

The Humanities and Social Sciences strand equips students with skills, experience, and qualification to better prepare them for higher education in communications, psychology, social work, education, political sciences, and history. Through field visits to museums and cultural centers supplemented with talks from experts, the strand enables students to understand their roles as catalysts for change in the global community.
